Patine
2011 Syrah and Grenache from Eleven Confessions Vyd
- These wines are part of the Extended Barrel-Aged (EBA) program.
- The Grenache is
- 78% Grenache (fermented with 25% whole clusters), 21% Syrah, and 1% Viognier
on the Grenache).
- All from the Eleven Confessions Estate vineyard.
- Aged about 33 months in 11% new French oak barriques, the rest used of varying sizes.
- Bottled on July 16, 2014.
- The Syrah is
- 93% Syrah (fermented with 22% whole clusters), 4% Petite Sirah, 1.6% Roussanne, and 1.4% Viognier.
- All from the Eleven Confessions Estate vineyard.
- Aged about 39 months in 63% new oak barriques, the rest used of varying sizes.
- Bottled on February 9, 2015.
- Both shipped in Fall 2015.
The 2011 Patine Grenache has a black capsule and blue name (on the back), and
came wrapped in white tissue paper.
The 2011 Patine Syrah has a red capsule and red name (on the back), and
came wrapped in red tissue paper.
Regular size bottles (750ml) of the Patine wines came in a wooden-boxed set
with 3 bottles of 2011 Patine Grenache
and 3 bottles of 2011 Patine Syrah.

one magnum of Grenache and one magnum of Syrah.
