Cantina Mascarello Barolo 1971 Cavalieri Bottling

There were two special bottlings of the 1971 Cantina Mascarello Barolo for the Ordine dei Cavalieri del Tartufo e dei Vini d'Alba. Both prominently show the name of Bartolo's father Giulio Mascarello, who died in 1981. Bartolo made this wine and labeled it in honor of his father.

The first special bottling, bottled in 1977, also mentions the Canubbi vineyard prominently on the label. The second (below), bottled in 1978, does not mention any vineyard on the label. I have been assured by the winery that both these bottlings, as well as the regular bottling of Cantina Mascarello Barolo 1971 all contain the same wine.
