Roagna Barolo Chinato
According to its US importer,
Polaner,
the Roagna Winery
has made Barolo Chinato for 100 years, but only for consumption within the family.
The recent release is made from one of their top Barolo wines,
the 2001 La Rocca e la Pira Barolo Riserva.
According to the winery, production is limited to less than 1000 bottles for each bottling.
